My name is Bo Taylor and I have been serving the greater Charleston area and beyond since before 2000. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Radford University with a concentration in Commercial Fitness. I also earned a Master of Education degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from The Citadel.

BO'S STORY

Through my years in the fitness industry, I have folded towels working behind the front desk, worked in cardiac rehabilitation units, and managed fitness and aquatic facilities.

Now, I coach individuals, just like you, to be better versions of themselves. This means that no matter where you are in life- you're overweight and want to drop some pounds OR you are fit and want to get fitter- I can help.

I know how overwhelming your fitness and health journey can be. That’s why I’m dedicated to providing you the guidance, education, and support required to achieve and maintain results.

For over 20 years, I’ve been a certified personal trainer. I’ve trained athletes, TV and radio personalities, beauty pageant/fitness competitors, and everyday folks looking to be better.

Personally, I was a collegiate level swimmer and competed in bodybuilding shows. That being said, I also know the struggles of being overweight and what it takes to get back into shape.  Here's some of the proof.

On some level the video above is completely embarrassing. However, I came across it unexpectedly and have included it here because I want you to know from where I’ve started and where I'm coming from. Heck, some of you might look at this and think I was never even overweight.

August 21st, 2015
I was 256 lbs, @ 40% body fat, and a list a mile long of aches, pains, and issues.  I was medicated via copious amounts of food and alcohol.  The decision was made that this would be the end of "Fat Bastard".  Sadly, this was not my heaviest. Years prior I had been well over 270 lbs.

Deciding to Make a Change
Starting from my heaviest, I managed to lose 120 lbs in 18 months and went on to participate in two bodybuilding shows.

Now, I don't say or show you this to impress you. My hope is to impress upon you that if my fat, drunk, lazy self can make the decision to change, you can as well.  Heck, you are probably not that bad off.  Or maybe you are. Either way, you can do it, too!
